Job Title: Network Engineer

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team! As a Network Engineer with NetGator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure for our clients. You will work closely with our project managers and customers to understand their unique needs and develop customized solutions that meet their requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network architectures for clients across various industries

  • Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely and efficient manner

  • Develop and maintain documentation of network configurations and diagrams

  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering

  • CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification (or equivalent)

  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)

  • Experience with network design and implementation tools (e.g. CiscoWorks, SolarWinds)

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering

  • CompTIA Security+ or Cisco CCNP certification (or equivalent)

  • Experience with cloud-based networking solutions (e.g. AWS, Azure)

  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell)
